AIMS AND SCOPE

The Journal of Critical and Intensive Care is dedicated to advancing the field of intensive and critical care medicine by publishing high-quality research that bridges basic science and clinical practice. The journal covers a wide range of topics including pediatric intensive care, neurointensive care, intensive care nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacology, respiratory therapy, and nutrition in intensive care settings, as well as acute and emergency medicine.

Our mission is to promote the integration of fundamental scientific discoveries with their clinical applications, offering valuable insights into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of life-threatening conditions. By publishing original clinical, basic, and translational research articles, case reports, and letters to the editor, the journal facilitates the exchange of knowledge and experiences among healthcare professionals in the field.

With a special focus on rare conditions and emerging therapies, the Journal of Critical and Intensive Care contributes significantly to the evolution of critical care medicine, ensuring continuous improvement in healthcare delivery for critically ill patients. The target audience includes physicians, researchers, and healthcare staff working in both clinical and basic science departments, particularly those engaged with intensive care medicine.
